memorable moments in movies

i saw quite a few movies since i came to US. there're few scenes that gave me such an visual impact. i would love to mentioned a few here.
1. predator: this was an ok action sci fi movie. nothing very memorable to me in the storyline at all. but there's one scene near the end where Arnold was calling out his challenge to the predator. it's such a great shot! i felt awesome about the whole visual setting. Arnold was holding a torch on a huge rock against a very dark background. the camera panned far so Arnold looked small, he looked lonely and yet strong and emotion felt.

2. the 13th warrior: another not so good fantasy movie. however, the final fight where the viking king killed his opponents. exhausted and almost dead, he finally sat down on the king's throne. i felt an awesome feeling that the seat really belonged to him. the feeling of awe really shook me. a king cared for his people, cared for his duty, and possess great skills and courage and power. suddenly in that last scene all the elements came together like one piece! awesome!

3. king kong(peter jackson): the scene where naomi watts finally showed up for the gorilla. my tears was almost falling down. did you see that ape's face? it had such an effect that reminds me of jesus walking on water and the storm quickly calmed! it's like the moment of violence never really happened. and that moment of peace was there to stay forever.

4. con air: now this was a very good action movie. the scene that make me to memorize is the scene where the real action began. it's near the end again where main character's close friend got hurt, the protagnist was so angry. he rushing towards the bad guy, and bad guy took a shot at him. the bullet went through the protagnist's arms, but he felt no pain at all! he totally ignored and revenge his friend was all that in his mind. he marched over there and killed the bad guy, or just beat him up, i forgot. that moment when the bullet went through the arm, the protagnist showed no pain, shocked the bad guy. now that's what i called action movie character! lol!!

5. lords of the ring the fellowship of the ring: the scene where borogue the fire demon facing Gandolf. need i to say more? this was a piece of art! the actor really triumphed here, and the CG really accelerated too! that's a milestone for the high fantasy movies! this was one great scene, an instant classic!

6. braveheart: the final scene of william wallace. when that guy yelled out FREEEEEEEEEDOM!!!!!! and the plaza crowd was so silenced. my tear was near the brink of flowing out!
